ENTRY FEE, REG., & START TIMES:

$10.00 (Includes $2.00 insurance) per rider. No Late Fees. JUNIORS RACE FREE IN JUNIOR CATEGORIES. First registered are first to ride. TTT will run before ITT. Promoter reserves the right to change schedule as necessary. Race runs rain or shine. No Refunds. One-Day Licenses race Cat 5/Citizen.


PRE-REGISTRATION: Mail 2004 USCF standard athlete release form (http://www.usacycling.org/forms/2004_rider_release.pdf) and check payable to ARIZONA STATE CYCLING postmarked one week before race day to:

IMPORTANT:

  • ALL USCF AND NCCA RULES APPLY AND WILL BE ENFORCED. USCF LEGAL HELMETS REQUIRED.

  • PREREGISTRATION FOR NCCA AND USCF TEAM TIME TRIALS ARE MANDATORY.

  • NCCA (COLLEGIATE) RIDERS MUST SHOW CURRENT PROOF OF FULL TIME ENROLLMENT.

  • NCCA (Collegiate) Men’s TTT requires 3, max of 4 riders. Time is taken on 3rd rider.

  • NCCA (Collegiate) Women’s TTT requires 2, max of 4 riders. Time is taken on 2nd rider.

  • REQUIREMENT OF THE SHERIFF: PARK WELL OFF OF THE SHOULDER. YOUR CAR DOOR SHOULD BE ABLE TO OPEN W/O

GOING INTO THE ROAD (AT LEAST 3’). FAILURE TO DO SO RESULTS IN A DQ AND SURRENDER OF RACE FEE.

  • FILL OUT REGISTRATION FORM COMPLETELY AND LEGIBLY. FAILURE TO DO SO MEANS YOU WILL NOT BE SCORED.

  • COURSE IS CLOSED 15 MINS PRIOR TO START TIME. WARM UP ON YOUR TRAINER. RIDERS ON THE COURSE (NOT RACING)

AFTER START WILL BE DQ’D.

  • STAY CLEAR OF START/FINISH AREA WHEN NOT RACING. RIDERS FINISHING SHOULD HAVE A CLEAR ROAD AHEAD OF THEM.

  • DO NOT RIDE/WALK/RUN UP TO FINISH AREA AND ASK TO KNOW YOUR TIME WHILE RIDERS ARE STILL FINISHING. TIMES WILL

BE POSTED AFTER THE LAST RIDER HAS FINISHED.

COURSE: Course is located on Arizona Farms Road and is 20km out and back. Road is slightly downhill going out, in good condition, and has a fairly fast surface. Course is open to traffic, chickens, dogs, etc. Be watchful. Centerline rule applies.


CATEGORIES: Open to all USCF categories, Collegiate, and Citizens. Specify category on registration. Citizens must register on site and purchase a USCF license (1 day $5.00, annual $50.00). COMPLETE REGISTRATION FORMS MANDATORY.


SPECIAL: On March 27, there will be the AZ TT SERIES TEAM TIME TRIAL competition to see who has the fastest team in the state. There will be two categories: MEN Open (any USCF Category) and COED (any USCF Category). Put together your 4 (required) fastest guys/guys and gals. TIME IS TAKEN ON 4th RIDER. Racing for a trophy to be brought back next year to defend your honor and $50 cash for each category. PREREGISTRATION FOR TEAM TIME TRIAL IS MANDATORY.


AWARDS: Awards will be given this year. Awards list will be at race.


DIRECTIONS: Course is on Arizona Farms Road, with start/finish 1 mile West of US 89 (AZ 79). Park on shoulder of Arizona Farms Road between US 89 (AZ 79) and the start/finish. Per the Sheriff – Vehicles must be parked well off the road. Door must be able to open and be 3’ from road.


FROM PHOENIX (North of Course): Take US 60 East to US 89 (AZ 79). Go South 10 miles from Florence Junction on US 89 (AZ 79) to Arizona Farms Road.


FROM TUCSON (South of Course): Go North US 89 (AZ 79). Arizona Farms Road is approximately 6 miles North of Florence.


NOTE: There are no facilities at the course. The nearest f+acilities are in Florence 6 miles South of the course. Riders coming from Phoenix might want to stop before Florence Junction. Riders from Tucson might want to stop in Florence. Bring your trainers to warm up on.
